MCHP PNEUMATIC BAND SAWS

CONSTRUCTION

Pneumatic band saws by MCHP consist of a housing with a handle, pneumatic motor, gearbox, and drive and guide wheels. The body of MCHP saws is made of 2 mm thick steel sheet with special reinforcements, fully galvanized and painted.

APPLICATION

Thanks to their specially designed toothed belts and high-quality materials, these saws can cut materials such as alloyed steels, non-ferrous metals, rubber, and plastics. The pneumatic-powered saw is a highly efficient tool that eliminates the need for cutting with gas torches. Due to its straightforward operation, after a short training session, employees can perform tasks that previously required welding qualifications. It is widely used for both workshop tasks and in shafts, including cutting the ends of SAG balance ropes, bolts, profiles, etc. The surfaces obtained through cutting are smooth, and the elements are cut with high precision - in a short time (cutting a typical rail in 3 minutes).

Special bimetal bands with increased durability are used for the saw. The saw is supplied with a cutting band as standard.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Due to its construction, it can be safely used in wet environments as well as in potentially explosive areas. In mining, it is used for cutting walkway supports, scraper chains, rails, bolts, pipes, hydraulic lines, and cables.

The saws can operate with a minimum pneumatic pressure of 0.2 MPa.
