The pneumatic hand drill PWR-II is intended for drilling holes in coal and rocks with a hardness similar to coal.
It can also be used for tunneling, walkway construction, and other drilling tasks, such as in salt mines. For hole drilling, use rotating drilling tools like a ribbed or diamond-shaped rod with a handle, with a maximum hole diameter of Ø62 mm.
One major advantage of the PWR-II drill is its application directly during underground mining operations, where methane hazard classes "a," "b," and "c," as well as A and B coal dust explosion hazard classes, exist. The drill is powered by compressed air supplied through the lubricant dispenser. Rotating drilling tools should be used in the drill, specifically spiral ribbed rods or diamond-shaped rods with handles.
