ELASTIC COUPLING TYTAN

The TYTAN-type coupling consists of a motor hub, a double claw plate, two elastic inserts, and a gearbox hub with a brake disc. Elastic inserts are elements that connect both parts of the coupling, eliminating the need for screw connections. All couplings are factory-balanced to grade G16. Thanks to the double elastic inserts, the coupling effectively compensates for changes in torque, resulting in its quiet operation.

WORKING CONDITIONS

TYTAN couplings can be used in machines intended for operation in underground mines in zones "a," "b," and "c" of methane explosion hazard and stages A and B of coal dust explosion hazard. TYTAN-type elastic couplings are equipped with a brake disc and therefore cannot operate with hubs installed in reverse. Flexible inserts are made of Miliurethane II and do not pose an explosion hazard.
