The coupling with the DURA-FLEX insert consists of two hubs and an elastic insert. The shapes of the elastic insert ensure optimal interaction even in cases of imprecise alignment between the motor shafts and the driven equipment.
Due to the high flexibility of the elastomer insert, the axial and radial forces acting on the bearings are minimized. High-elasticity couplings with a DURA-FLEX insert do not require lubrication and are chemically resistant. The coupling is characterized by quick assembly and a low number of spare parts.
Couplings with a DURA-FLEX insert can be used in systems with a diesel engine. Couplings with a DURA-FLEX insert are used based on the individual characteristics of the drive system and customer needs.
Couplings with an elastic DURA-FLEX insert are used in various industries. The use of elastic DURA-FLEX inserts allows for the use of couplings wherever good accessibility to this element is required. The replacement of elastic DURA-FLEX inserts does not require the separation of the drive system (e.g., the motor or the gearbox).
They serve to transmit the drive from the electric motor to the machinery and equipment's gearbox, such as: pumps, fans, mixers, centrifuges, belt and roller conveyors, cranes, etc.

TKN - Rated Torque – a torque that the coupling can continuously transmit within the permissible speed range during normal operation. This torque should exceed the rated torque of the driven device by a value depending on the type of work, rotation, temperature, and expected geometric deviations.
TKmax - Maximum Torque – the maximum value to which the torque load on the couplingcan briefly increase.
φN - The relative angular displacement of the couplinghalves loaded with rated torque.
φmax - The relative angular displacement of the couplinghalves loaded with maximum torque.
nmax - Maximum rotational speed.
Kr - Permissible splitting of the axis of the couplinghalves during continuous operation.
Ka - Permissible elongation or compression of the elastomer insert during continuous operation.
Kw - Permissible shear angle of the axis of the couplinghalves during continuous operation.
ΦD - The outer diameter of the elastomer insert.
ΦAmax - Maximum diameter of the hub hole.
WES/WE - Length of the elastomer insert (two variants according to WES and WE markings).
