It is designed for drilling holes in coal and rock of similar hardness using rotary drills consisting of a diamond-shaped screw rod (Ø37) or a spirally ribbed rod (Ø39) and a handle (maximum diameter Ø43).
With increased torque, drilling can be performed in hard coal and overgrown seams.
It can be used in underground mines in facilities classified as methane explosion hazard classes 'a,' 'b,' or 'c,' and coal dust explosion hazard classes 'A' or 'B,' provided that power is turned off when the methane concentration exceeds 2%, in accordance with applicable regulations.
