The highly elastic detachable couplings of the DUAL type are a special design of couplings.
These couplings are used to transmit power from electric motors to the transmission of machinery and equipment such as pumps, mixers, centrifuges, belt and roller conveyors, overhead cranes, etc.
The elastic DUAL OKS couplingis a version of DUAL clutches used in drive systems subject to sudden and frequent overloads depending on the operating characteristics of the facility. The DUAL OKS couplingfeatures a pair of claws on the driving and driven sides, allowing for limited angular displacement.
The claws serve as a mechanical protection element to maintain the continuity of the couplingtransmission in case of a sleeve breakage. With this solution, there is no possibility to disengage the system after the sleeve breaks.
