SW-MOJ Pin Coupling

The primary application of SW-MOJ pin couplings is to connect an electric or hydraulic drive motor to the shaft of the driven equipment.

These couplings can be used for intermittently operated equipment that is switched on dozens of times per shift, subject to significant overloads of up to 50% of the torque.

One advantage of the SW-MOJ coupling is the ability to replace the elastic inserts and pins without removing the motor. With the SW-MOJ coupling, you can disconnect the motor from the system by removing the pin without the need to disassemble the entire system. It is also possible to manufacture a coupling with non-standard dimensions and install a brake disc or drum.

Application

The main application of SW-MOJ type elastic couplings is to connect the electric or hydraulic drive motor to the shaft of the driven device. They can be used to connect infrequently operated devices (a few times per shift) with nearly constant or slight load fluctuations, as well as to connect intermittently operated devices that are switched on more than a dozen times per shift and experience significant overloads of up to 50%.

Operating Conditions

Functioning in an environment with a pH range of 5 to 12 in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C. They offer chemical resistance, including common solvents, gasoline, oils and fats, sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, saltwater, and many other chemicals. They can be used in machines intended for operation in underground mines of categories a, b, or c with methane explosion hazards and coal dust explosion classes A and B.
